The Age of Free Online Gaming

The Age of Free Online Gaming

The age of free online gaming is now upon us. It is remarkable how much progress has been made in the free online gaming market in the past five or so years. Earlier this decade when people heard "free game" horrible images of freeware games made by college kids in their spare time came to mind, games that looked like early 1980s PC RPG betas. No longer. Today there are literally dozens of free to play games in almost every genre. Maple Story alone, a free to play 2D MMORPG released in 2003, now boasts over 56 million accounts worldwide 1. Just in case you're wondering, that blows World of Warcraft with its 10 million users out of the water. While MMORPGs are the most common genre of free gaming, there are free games in every field. Shot Online and Albatross18 are both free golfing games with a level of depth rarely found in the retail golfing market. Games like GunZ: The Duel, Wolf Team, War Rock, and Soldier Front offer FPS experiences ranging from frag fests to tactical team coordinated matches. Its difficult to think of a genre that isn't covered. There are several excellent free racing games such as the simple yet realistic racer Project Torque. If you want something more immersing, look no further than the hybrid Racing/RPG game Drift City which has several fully explorable cities filled with side missions and places to explore with graphics similar to the retail Grand Theft Auto games. If you like to mix rocket launchers with your racers, the free market delivers; Upshift Strikeracer is all about rockets, mines, and other nasty weapons to blow the other players out of the race. Even traditional sports are covered. Freestyle Street Basketball is a simple yet addictive game where each match lasts five minutes, perfect for the casual player. If you're a soccer fan than try Kicks Online.

I've mentioned only a fraction of the free to play games available and it almost feels like a crime to have left out such great games as Fly For Fun, Exteel, Gunbound, and the dozens of other games now accessible by anyone with an Internet connection. Now, dear reader, you must be convinced that we are now entering the age of free gaming, but I have one more shock for you. This is only the beginning. Even as I write this there are dozens of top quality games in beta testing either here in America or in Japan and Korea. Beautiful games like Neosteam and a Gundam MMO are in the works. The list of free online games available and under construction is in the hundreds. Many former pay to play games have been liberated from their monthly fees. Archlord, RF Online, Savage, Anarchy Online, and Shadow Bane are now available to the masses for free. Surely this is a trend that will continue.

The next time you consider pulling out the credit card to activate a subscription or purchase a game online, think twice and give a free to play game a chance. You might be surprised by what you find. If you're looking for a resource site to read a bit about the best free games out there, I'd recommend checking out MMOHub.

How to Game Like a Pro

How to Game Like a Pro

How is that other guy so fast?

How did he react and move so much more accurate then you?

Well, a lot of speed in reaction time and accuracy is practice and natural reaction time which you can only get by spending a lot of time in that certain game or genre of games.

But a lot of it comes from simple hardware upgrades and tweaks! Having that little higher reaction time mouse or anti ghosting keyboard. Having that perfect key layout or preprogrammed gaming pad. Those things make a huge difference.

In my experience, the difference between an average standard mouse and a gaming mouse is as big as the Grand Canyon. The usb connector is usually gold plated for faster connection times and less delay between click and action. The optical sensors are much more active and have a higher resolution. The entire design is build for speed and fast hand and wrist movement. Even the cable is thiner and more flexible to give you the least amount of resistance when moving.

Every little twitch of the wrist can move your mouse cursor across the screen at many times the speed of a regular mouse. Instead of 2 mouse buttons they have 7! All fully programmed to that certain game you're playing. You won't have to reach across the keyboard or click the screen to use a certain skill or switch out weapons. They have it all in reach of their fingers, on the mouse to be clicked in a split second.

Joana's 1-70 Horde Leveling Guide For World of Warcraft!

Joana's 1-70 Horde Leveling Guide For World of Warcraft!

I honestly admit, Joana's Horde leveling guide, a World of Warcraft leveling guide, is the first guide I used to level my first character from 1-70 in the World of Warcraft, a troll priest on the Coilfang server. Before I purchased Joana's guide, I had already leveled a 40 gnome rogue, which I couldn't progress on, because I had no idea what to do or where to go. So I made another character, a dwarf hunter, which I was able to level up to 48, but I was stuck again. I got frustrated and created a gnome mage. I would only get up to level 36 before deciding World of Warcraft was too hard, or so I thought. I left the game for a month, and when I got one of my friend's interested, we decided to play again. This time, however, I would be going Horde. I had heard of guides, but never used them, so I decided to do some research. This is how I found out about Joana's Horde guide.

We started right away. I purchased Joana's leveling guide, and started my troll priest. My friends were a warlock (who already had 2 70s), and a mage (who had never played before). I immediately sped ahead of them, playing around the same hours, using Joana's guide. I knew exactly where to go, and using the guide, I beat my warlock friend to 70 by almost 2 weeks (keep in mind, he had already leveled 2 characters from 1-70! My mage friend achieved level 70 a little bit later, probably a month after I leveled, due to his inexperience. As you can see, I wiped away the competition!

Joana's guide is one of the best World of Warcraft leveling guides to date. It provides excellent, detailed, step by step information on exactly where to go, using an in game coordinate system. It lists every single quest, in order, that you need to accept to get from 1-70 in minimal time. Joana includes tips, tricks, and methods of exactly how he got the record leveling time. Also included are full-length videos of every moment of Joana's astounding, 1-70 leveling experience.

Whether you're new to the World of Warcraft, and seem to have some trouble leveling; or you're an avid, experienced player, looking for a faster way to 70, I sincerely believe that Joana's Guide could be a great addition to your leveling experience 1-70!

Metal Gear Solid - To Cause Sensation Among the Gaming Community

A game soon to be launched (June 12) is already causing great sensation among the gaming community, Metal Gear Solid 4 is already being called one of the most realistic and breathtaking battlefields you can find anywhere, anytime. This incredible reading was created, written and directed by Hideo Kojima, Shujo Murata and Yoji Shinkawa.

Since this game has been developed by Asian directors and writers you can expect a lot of elements are you have seen a Japanese animations such as Ghost in the Shell, Evangelion, Gundam Seed and many others to come alive in this complex video game. MGS4 has been set to bring several elements of very futuristic war situations where the player is able to use artificial intelligence as well as self-aware combat units in order to take on the enemy.

The main character of the game, the one that the player will be controlling is called "Old Snake" or "Snake" for short, he is a grumpy, old but extremely agile genetically engineered soldier who is sent to the middle east in order to terminate his rival Liquid Ocelot. Liquid controls a company which is called Outer Heaven that at the same time serves as a proxy in order to manipulate the five largest private military companies that fight wars in order to create a profit.

Getting to your ultimate enemy will prove to be very difficult to because there are several proxies that you need to defeat before you get to the real villain, luckily for Snake and the player there will be a small metal gear unit that is intelligent and very useful which will a company the main character every step of the way.

Snake is not the only genetically engineered being in the game, there are two more characters who shared the same characteristics as Snake and it turned out to be his enemies, they are called Ocelot and Solidus. The player will also have to explore the possibilities of one of these enemies carrying stronger genes than those used to engineer Snake.

Some of the technologies which are implemented in the game include optical camouflage (referred to as octocamo) which allows Snake to blend with any surface, as you may know this technology was first featured in the animation ghost in the Shell, at least for this type of battle situation. Another great addition is the "solid eye" which provides a great deal of details about the terrain and the computer desk manufacturer geographical position of enemy. With so much action and high-tech devices players will be literally busy for weeks at a time.

Full PC Game Downloads and Free Downloadable PC Games

Full PC Game Downloads and Free Downloadable PC Games

"Full pc game downloads" and "free downloadable pc games" and "illegal download pc games" are some of conference table, laptop stand, printer equipment table, trainning tablethe highest searches online. The real question is whether you can actually download full versions through free sites and what the pros and cons are.

There are real drawbacks that avid PC gamers face when they go to free sites. Unfortunately, when you usually start your download not only will you actually download parts of the game but also adware, spyware and harmful viruses. While there is no upfront price involved to do this there is a massive price to your computer. What happens after these viruses and spyware find themselves on your pc is that they start corrupting your Windows registry, your hard drive and your files.

The end result?

Your computer slows down completely - which makes it virtually impossible to download anything anyway.

Your computer loses files which you'll never get back - which again makes it impossible to play games.

It completely crashes - which means you need to spend $100s or even $1000s either restoring it or buying a new one altogether.

But that's not all.

You then use massive amounts of your bandwidth and internet allowance to download what you believe are FULL versions only to find out that they are either trial copies, corrupted files or pirated versions which then infect the other programs on your site - and cause all the problems that I've already listed.

I know because this happened to me - and my "free" downloads ended up costing me $786.99!

That kind of freaked me out so I went on the rampage to find how to do it. I'm now completely "worry free" when downloading online - and you can be too!

For a tiny one time fee you can actually legally download games, TV shows, movies, mp3s, videos, software, wii media, psp games and virtually everything you'll ever need. These downloads not only are legal but they are safe - no adware, spyware, or harmful viruses that cause the problems I mentioned above!

Not only that but there are millions of items to choose from. Not only can you find the hottest products but also those rare to find old pc games that you and your family members may have grown up with.
